About Us
We studied creative subjects at UK universities. We spent three years in a building with two dozen people whose work we knew intimately, and almost no idea what was happening anywhere else in the country.
Our coursemates were brilliant. We knew their work, argued about it, watched it develop. But everyone else was invisible. Students at other universities, students in our own university working in disciplines outside ours, projects we'd have wanted in on if anyone had told us they existed. There was no shared space for any of it.
Three years pass quickly. We graduated with about a dozen useful names in our phones, and a portfolio scattered across four or five different platforms. Most of the work, and most of the people behind it, quietly stopped being findable.
We built Screendm because none of that needs to be true. The work is already being made. The talent is already here. It just needs a single place to live.
